The Flake Ice Generator is the core heat exchange component of a flake ice machine system. Koller flake ice machine evaporator drum adopts a fixed static vertical design. The refrigerant evaporates and absorbs heat within the flow channels on the drum wall, while water forms a water film on the inner wall and rapidly freezes into ice, which is then continuously scraped off by the ice blade to produce finished flake ice.

The refrigerant channel features grooves or ribs that increase heat transfer area and surface wetting. This enhances nucleation sites, reduces superheat and temperature difference, and significantly improves heat exchange efficiency.

Premium Materials & Precision Craftsmanship

The inner wall and upper/lower bases are available in SUS304/316 stainless steel or high-efficiency carbon steel with hard chrome plating. Manufactured with fully automatic protective welding and 850℃ annealing to eliminate residual stress, ensuring stable mechanical performance and permanent deformation resistance.

Spiral Multi-Edge Ice Blade

Formed from SUS304 seamless steel pipe in a single process, the blade features an optimized spiral angle and precise cylindricity. It offers low cutting resistance, uniform ice output without powder, quiet operation, and long service life.

Superior Insulation & Sealing

Imported polyurethane foam insulation provides excellent thermal performance. The static vertical design minimizes wear, enhances sealing, and effectively prevents refrigerant leakage.

Flexible Customization & Adaptability

Compatible with R404A, R507, R449 and other common refrigerants. Single-drum daily capacity ranges from 1 to 30 tons. Available as a standalone component for easy, cost-effective installation—simply connect to a refrigeration source.
