Can panel dimensions be fully customized to my cold storage size? Is there a minimum order quantity?

Yes. Panel length and width are completely custom-made according to the length, width, and height of your cold storage, with no on-site cutting waste. The order quantity is generally calculated based on the actual floor area, with no rigid minimum limit—even a single small unit (e.g., 2.5m × 2m × 2.3m) can be ordered for production.

How are panels joined together? Will cold air leak?

Our panels use an eccentric-hook locking system, with adjacent panels interlocked via built-in tongue-and-groove structures and high-elasticity PVC sealing gaskets. During installation, simply use a wrench to turn the eccentric hooks to pull and compress the panels together tightly. The joints are well sealed, effectively blocking thermal bridging and air leakage. Testing shows that cold-air loss through the joints is far below industry-standard requirements.

Are the panels fire-resistant? Do they have a flame-retardant rating?

Yes. Our polyurethane core material can achieve either B1 (difficult-to-ignite) or B2 (combustible) flame-retardant grades. The standard stock grade is B2; if you have fire-safety inspection requirements, you can specify B1 grade (please indicate this when ordering). Additionally, the metal facings themselves are non-combustible and effectively help prevent flame spread.

Is cold storage panel installation complicated? Does the manufacturer provide installation services?

Koller offers flexible installation options:
Option 1: We provide detailed installation drawings and video instructions, and you install the panels yourself (suitable for construction teams with prior experience).
Option 2: Our technical staff are sent on-site to guide installation (travel and guidance fees apply separately).

If my cold storage needs expansion or relocation, can these panels be reused?

Yes. Our panels use detachable eccentric-hook joints rather than single-use foam adhesive bonding. During expansion or relocation, you can number and disassemble the panels, then reassemble them according to the new dimensions. Only a small number of additional non-standard panels may be needed for new sections. The reuse rate is high, saving on secondary investment.

Can you also supply matching refrigeration units and control systems?

Yes. In addition to panels, KOLLER can supply complete refrigeration compressor units (air-cooled/water-cooled), evaporators/cooling fans, electrical control boxes, and temperature/humidity monitoring systems. Customers can choose a total package, with unified design and matching to ensure coordinated and efficient operation between the insulation and refrigeration systems, avoiding compatibility issues from different manufacturers' equipment.

What' s the production time for the cold room panels?

Normally the production time is 30–45 working days for standard designs and 50–90 working days for custom design, both calculated after deposit received.
